Droit comme un F is a TV documentary by Testa Productions. These illustrations, comprising 50+ individual characters and scenes were created for use on an accompanying educational website which explains the history of French-language education in Canada.
When Denis Tardif retired from his position as Director General of the Francophone Secretariat of the Province of Alberta, the Minister’s Council on the Canadian Francophonie commissioned this caricature as a gift to thank him for his contributions.
These characters are based on people and puppets from the live-action TFO series, Le monde magique de Lorenzo. I was provided with scanned pencil sketches that I would digitally refine and colourize. This extensive project comprised of twenty 8-panel stories for a grand total of 160 individual panels!
When my previous studio’s relocation coincided with the new year, I created these retro icons celebrating both the move and the winter season for our annual holiday cards.
These black and white icons were commissioned by Page Two Books to serve as ornaments on chapter-opener pages of Category of One. One of the challenges of this project is that the icons needed to be legible at a size of half an inch.
Using a brand specific colour palette, these captioned illustrations for Editors Canada were meant for promotional use on the client’s website and social media accounts.
